Watch out Monday, February 2nd because I’ll be unleashing my first book, Style, Naturally (say it with a little attitude ;o). It’s going on a 10-country launch and will be available at all major locations like Amazon.com, Borders and Barnes & Nobles, but also cool conscientious booksellers like Better World Books, which has raised over 5.2 million dollars for literacy projects and diverted close to 17 million books from the landfill. Launching a book is a bit overwhelming. We’re planning parties/events in NYC, London, Los Angeles, Toronto, D.C., San Francisco, Philadelphia, and Vancouver (not necessarily in that order) and some book readings/informal talks in cities in between and off-the-beaten-path. Tune into STYLENATURALLY.COM soon for all the latest updates and a big-ass style directory with all the great sustainable fashion and beauty brands (coming soon)!
“Bug nets in bags only get a person so far…” (excerpt from Style, Naturally) - yet here I am showing the videographer how to carry a net and catch insects.

Does it not look like a rainforest in my room? Look at the size of my Ficus! Can’t wait for the plants to totally take over. Seems like a great backdrop as I’m talking about some sustainably-harvested wood bracelets from our projects in Mozambique (a.d. schwarz jewelry)
My closet was a little messy, but I had a lot to pull from. Seen here: English Retreads recycled tire bag. I’m also wearing a Prophetik shrug (made out of recycled plastic bottles); organic cotton tee by Under the Canopy; some tassles necklaces from Ombre Claire; sustainably-harvested wood bracelets by a.d. schwarz; a re-created vintage skirt by Vintage Creations from Kaight; and Pjux vegetable-tanned boots from Ekovaruhuset.
A little video clip on the book with some sneak peaks of the book.
