Beyond Green Building: A recent trip to The Eartship Headquarters in Taos, New Mexico inspired this article for ABOVE Magazine. The editor, Randall and I tore ourselves away from the COP15 happenings to share a meal at 42 Raw with Mike Reynolds (“Einstein of the Desert” as I like to call him). We got the latest good news from Reynolds: There is a proposal for an Earthship in both Norway (run with hyrdoelectric power) and in the Galapagos Islands, which is tackling how to deal with it’s sewage and waste.

Huge felled trees from forests were brought in as an art exhibit to raise awareness of deforestation.
