Style, Naturally launch: NY, NY – 02.10.09
We kicked off the Style, Naturally launch events Tuesday evening at Stella McCartney’s downtown boutique. I first and foremost want to thank all of my friends who made the book possible and helped celebrate. I even had a few surprise visits; people I haven’t seen in awhile; and some good warm hugs.
Thank you to all the sponsors – including Payless ShoeSource zoe & zac, Stella McCartney, Chronicle Books and others listed here. I know a number of industry executives made it out and want to thank you for you new and continued interest in this space. We really had an incredible turnout (between 270-300 guests over the course of the three hours) with a remarkable cross-section of the who’s-who of the sustainable style scene. I know some guests were impressed with Daniel Boulud’s Feast & Fetes vegetarian fare (the mushroom tartare was divine!) and the drink menu was pretty flush: From chardonnay from Sherwood House Vineyards; organic acai liqueur cocktails compliments of Veev; to Tumai water, Honest Tea, Steaz, Sambazon, and Vita Coco. Thanks everyone!
