I am very inspired by scenario 2: community couture. I think this is the most realistic option sprinkled with some of the other scenarios. I was so inspired that I have started a poll, for those who want to vote on their 5 favorite items from the deux fm fall 2010 collection.

Why not leave it up to the public? This is an especially useful tool for large companies who need to limit waste and spending on throwaway fashion. lets make what people want, let's slow things down, let's re-use the clothing we already have. So many ideas! Thanks for posting this Summer.

Depressing, especially the first one, with the last frame depicting nuclear radiation symbols on every continent. So what is the fashion industry doing about it? It used to be that in the 60's the anti-nuclear movement and the fashion community acted as one, giving rise to hippy culture. But now everything is controlled by shallow green corporate programs, which only address the superficiality of the issues. In other words, all the guppies (green urban professionals) have sold out to Starbucks for their organic soy latte!
