It seems as if the GOPs are hanging up their political differences for the well-being of the country. Yesterday on Meet the Press, Colin Powell raised the discourse by critiquing the two Presidential candidates, articulately coming to the conclusion that he will be voting for Obama come November 4, 2008 (see video below).
At a Green Business Summit in NYC on Friday, T. Boone Pickens reveals that he is now luncheon partners with Al Gore. Sure Boone believes in global warming, but he believes that the “Page 1″ issue is securing energy independence and CNG (compressed natural gas) can be a bridge fuel in the meantime. Boone was very straightforward when coming to terms with the Presidential candidates: “I don’t care who you vote for this election day…but they need a plan about our energy. And if they aren’t supporting Pickens Plan then come up with a better one – but just have some plan.”
And Tina Fey–SNL’s Sarah Palin-impersonator–hugs it out with the salt-of-the-earth VP “maverick.”
If French citizens could vote in our election, 80 percent would vote for Obama (Current.tv).
