I have to give a holler out to my boy Frank who’s doing a photo exhibit on identity over on Canal street this Saturday. I’ll be in the air, so I’ll have to wait to see the exhibit, but you all might as well go without me. Frank and I shot in a studio on the W side of Williamsburg not too long ago, so you’ll see my mug at the exhibit. So there ya go; I’ll be there in spirit. If you remember, I told you a bit about the exhibit HERE, but basically it celebrates the “mutts” of the world, as Barack Obama so eloquently said the other day on national TV. Originally the exhibit was to be called “Other”- a title inspired by the check box on school forms, job applications, surveys, and whatever else is out there that requires us..No, no…makes us choose our race.
