Mozambique Diaries from Nov 07

In anticipation of my departure tomorrow to Mozambique, I’ve cut together a little video-diary from my trip last November 2007. Some writing is taken out of my journals, which I’ve yet to share fully. I’ll land in Johannesburg on the 17th and catch up on some sleep. Allan and I will then have dinner with Phyto Trade, detour through Kruger National Park, and drive to the southern end of Mozambique to check out his new project with UNICEF. The plan is to stay there for a day or so and then end up at camp at the Mezimbite Forest Centre and work there for a bit. We have a number of the Forest Centre’s (a.d. schwarz’s) spectacular sustainably-harvested wood products in the states and we’ll be launching them later this year! Stay tuned for that and the completion of my trip this October!

Yes, that’s me getting down with the locals.

Wherever you are, people will follow.

this pretty much brought tears to my eyes. What an adventure we had. So many good memories.
