This unique creation is one of 40 rings that were hand-delivered in the 79th Annual Oscar swag bags this past February. Eco-conscious design house, Carasan Designs named 15 of these rings, “Summer Rayne’s Flowers” and provided a letter of authenticity guaranteeing that every time the wearer showcased their ring in the press, Carasan will donate another ring to the wearer’s favorite charity for auction. Each band is meticulously hand-woven with vintage beads and crystals. One ring takes approximately 24 hours to make.

Summer Rayne Oakesand Lucire Magazine launch an updated version of Behind the Label, the eco-conscious editorial that was released in September 2005. The editorial will still feature the sustainable style brands in Summer’s closet, but will include a feature articlethat connects the fashion to popular global or societal topics in support of the magazine’s new direction. In the February/March issue, Oakes addresses a woman’s inner beauty and the power of seduction. Behind the Label will also be accompanied by a page of ethical and eco-conscious products + ideas associated with the theme of the editorial.
