Umucyo ubamurikira – Rwanda to NYC

Sunday, August 31st, 2008

Esther Havens, a friend I made on the South Africa TOMS Shoe trip (and who I kidnapped to come with me to the sustainable development projects in Mozambique), had a pretty damn sweet photo exhibit in the city, after the Charity: Water benefit at SAKS, for which her images were also showcased. The girl just moved into my hood by way of Austin, and she’s all over the place already. Check out her exhibition if you get an opportunity. Umucyo ubamurikira is the name of her exhibit and it’ll be up at the Salt Gallery until September 30th.

Also check out the Charity: Water PSA that my pal Gary helped on.
