How to make soda in 5 seconds flat
Thursday, June 4th, 2009As you recall, I hit up the EPIC Expo in Vancouver this past May. Got to check out a bunch of Canadian cosmetics and skincare lines that you can’t easily find in the states including the folks over at Therawise (my agent swears by this product!); Saje, which has a to-die-for-body-butter; Tuscan Farm Gardens has a full range of natural botanical-based products; Royal Herbs; Micabella; Affera Cosmetics; and Glimpse (didn’t try out their products, love that they use mangosteen, but their video on their site…it’s soooooo QVC! Haha).
In the midst of seeking out Canadian’s Best in Beauty, I came across SodaStream, a home carbonation system, which is pretty cool for those of you who have kids with a penchant for CO2-infused drinks. Yah, you better watch out Coca Cola and Pepsi! This is self-reliant soda making in action. The SodaStream fountain jet makes carbonated beverages in 5 seconds flat. For real! Tuesday, June 2nd, 2009I’ve taken so many videos over the last few weeks – blue jean factories and shoe manufacturing in China; environmentally-responsible print shops and cool eco-boutiques in Sydney; photo shoots in Brisbane…got a lot of editing and catching up to do is I guess what I’m saying, but in the interim, enjoy the nice little video compilation Coco Eco put together from our photo shoot and beyond.
