Style, Naturally

Author a best-selling book that puts sustainability and style front and center.

Since such a large portion of my life has been forging new grounds on sustainability within the fashion world, it only seemed natural for me to write a book on the topic. I wrote Style, Naturally: The Savvy Shopping Guide to Sustainable Fashion and Beauty for a woman who loves style but doesn't necessarily have "green" or "environment" in her lexicon. At the time of the book's release, there wasn't much in the way of beautifully-executed style books on the topic. With the help and support of friends and the publisher, Chronicle Books, Style, Naturally made it all the way to Amazon's best-seller list.

Summer Rayne Oakes is the only person I know who has the unique ability to marry the worlds of fashion and environmental responsibility with such authenticity. Style, Naturally allows the desires of the fashionista and the environmentalist to be met without compromising the integrity of either.”

Guests at the SF launch party check out the book.

Over the course of a year I went on an 8-city book tour—hosting events at stella mcCartney's stores, next models, jurlique, and others. Cities included NYC, LA, SF, D.C. london, Hong Kong, Sydney, and Wellington,

Hosting a Style, Naturally  launch party in D.C. allowed me to see my friends in the policy sector.

You cannot help but develop the "bent-over-back" look when book signing. SF book signing at Jurlique.
